Your body isn’t getting any younger. That’s a good thing because if you weren’t getting any older you would have big problems. However nature and gravity are working to pull you back into the ground so you can push up the daisies. It’s a constant battle between you surviving and nature recycling you. The best way to fight nature is to stay healthy and strong. Strength comes from training, either from your activities of daily living that require physical strength that you use regularly, or from working out and training to be stronger.

Spices have been used throughout history for making food taste good and also for many health benefits. Sustainable Life Energy

One of the most common complaints that people that seek healthcare advice and treatment for, is fatigue and lack of energy. It is a major problem in our society and has great impacts on our lives and ability to function productively at our jobs, in our homes, and how we interact socially with others. Energy Alchemy

How often do you hear yourself say, “I wish I had more energy”? With only 24 hours in a day and so many things to do, we often feel we are falling short of accomplishing everything we want too. Last month in Bozeman we had Neil deGrasse Tyson speak at MSU and he shared with us some wonderful thought provoking ideas and pictures about science and our solar system. He reminded us that we are all made of the same things; tiny molecules bound together by electrons and re-arranged into many shapes and structures to bring diversity to life on our planet. The Skinny on Fats

For many years there has been a misconception about the fat we eat and the fat in our body. Starting with elevated cholesterol on a blood test, to doctors telling their patients not to eat diets high in saturated fat because it will raise your cholesterol. We now understanding that it is not fat that increases cholesterol in your blood or contributes to fat in your body, but rather sugar is the biggest culprit.  Unfortunately even though we now understand that sugars, and not fats, are the biggest problem with elevated cholesterol and obesity, we still get very little information on how we should be consuming appropriate fats and avoiding hydrogenated fats and oils in our diet.
